"As soon as it was discovered that this e-type was the first 4.2 for the 1965 model year, and it had been the featured Jaguar at the international Auto Show in Los Angeles in 1965, I knew the restoration team had to be the best. I put the word out and one name came back to me “Dave Ferguson”. Dave’s talent and knowledge of the e-type Jaguar was the force behind the success of this restoration. As a result IE30001 has placed best in class at numerous concourse shows. Black beauty, as Dave calls her, has also been featured in “E-type” magazine and has been the cover car for the concourse program. Together Dave and I have restored many cars and I would recommend Images to anyone who places value on excellence."
"I met Dave Ferguson at a Pebble Beach Concourse. He completely restored a Jag I bought that was literally rusting in a barnyard, and turned it into a machine that turns heads everywhere I drive. He did the same with my Porsche. It had been neglected. Dave succeeded in restoring it to a level as good as anything in Europe."

"I bought this 1962 xke completely disassembled and in dozens of cardboard cartons as an abandoned project. David sorted thru all the boxs and found the correct parts and put aside hunderds of incorrect parts I later sold on ebay. I decided to commit to a full concours restoration and several months later entered the car to the Quail lodge August event, and to my great surprise sold the car to a Canadian colletor because he wouldnt take no for an answer and offered such a high price I sold and immediately found another 1962 xke and started the entire experience again because it was so much fun. This next project took 10 months but I entered and won judged best of class at Palo Alto. I took this cream/red car to Quail Lodge and again sold to a southern Calif collector for "too much money" As you can guess this started the 3rd project a 1971 Detomaso GTS and this time the car sold to a Florida collector for a record breaking price. All 3 cars over a 3 year period set new price highs and every one was a winner. If you want your project done correctly you will enjoy the experience because David is "the best" William J Weiner
"A restoration project is serious business, and there are so many decisions to make along the way. What you'll realize is that the relationship is critical. Find the person and the team that can deliver what you need, interact honestly, and provide expert guidance without pushing you to do it their way, and you'll be way ahead of the game. You'll get through the inevitable tough spots without much frustration, you won't give up, and you'll end up enjoying the process as much as the final result. I experienced all that with Dave and Images and the people they bring together.
I spent almost 25 years getting moving on my restoration and it didn't really start happening until I ran across two guys who recommended Dave. I came in with a set of concerns about what could and should be done, about upgrades, about costs, and about issues like the DMV, and one long talk with Dave made me realize that we had the same way of looking at the project and the issues."
